Gong Cha and Square Enix will partner for a special FFXIV Dawntrail event starting on July 17, 2024. Customers who buy drinks can receive in-game items like a mount.
This collaboration was revealed during the FFXIV Letter from the Producer LIVE Part LXXXII. Towards the end, Director Naoki Yoshida and Toshio Murouchi from Square Enix announced various collaborations, including Gong Cha, Uniqlo, Vogue Japan, and Volks.
The FFXIV collaboration event will grant visitors to any Gong Cha outlet in Japan, North America, Europe, and Oceania who buy drinks themed items. Buying three or more drinks will reward players with a special mount called The Porxie King. The event will run from July 17 to August 28, 2024.
The recent Live Letter also featured updates on dungeons, raids, player Housing, and the patch schedule after Dawntrail’s release.
Final Fantasy XIV is playable on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Dawntrail expansion launches on July 2, 2024, with early-access beginning on June 28, 2024.
